Team costume contest
Each team is encouraged to dress in costume for their first game of the tournament. We are asking to have your team in costume meet behind the Stadium press box where we will have our hay bales and corn stalks set for your team photo. We recommend being there at least 90 minutes before your first scheduled game. Photos of each team will be placed on this website page on Saturday evening, October 26th at 9:00 PM. Once the photos are posted there will be the opportunity for all of your fans to vote on the one they think is the best. The winning team will win $100 toward a team pizza party at a location of their choice. Voting will close at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 27th.
Trunk Or Treat Contest
Exciting News!
This year, we’ve added a fun new contest for everyone to enjoy! We’re asking each team to decorate a car, truck, or any vehicle to be part of our "Trunk or Treat" on Saturday evening. Each participating team will be allowed to bring their vehicle onto Diamond 2 around 6:15 PM, with 45 minutes to decorate before the event starts.
From 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, our families will enjoy Trunk or Treat, hoping for treats but ready for tricks! For about two hours, players will walk through the decorated vehicles, and we hope each vehicle will have a small treat for them.
Here are some theme ideas for decorating, or feel free to create your own theme:
- Haunted Dugout: A spooky dugout with eerie baseball bats, ghostly players, and haunted softballs.
- Softball Monsters: A monster-themed display, with creatures holding softball gear and spooky versions of famous players.
- Field of Screams: A creepy softball field with cobwebbed bases, bats, and ghostly figures.
- Glow-in-the-Dark Softball: Neon and glow-in-the-dark decorations to create a vibrant nighttime softball scene.
- Superheroes vs. Villains: Famous superheroes and villains, all decked out in softball gear.
- Witches and Bats: A spooky witch's lair with flying bats, softball-themed potions, and broomstick bats.
- Pumpkin Patch Softball: Pumpkins and autumn elements, with a pumpkin-headed softball team.
During the evening, each team’s vehicle will be judged, and the winning team will earn a pizza party at a location of their choice!

Tournament Information
Teams will be seeded into a two-game guarantee bracket. Seeding will take place on Monday, October 21st, and the tournament schedule will be available on the app by that evening.

Crafters for Trick or Treaters
Something new! This year the Scarecrow Slam event has invited some local crafters to participate. In between games, you will be able to check out their crafts. We are also told they will all have some Halloween candy for those young trick-or-treaters.
